About
I am a 27-year-old visual artist with over seventeen years of experience. I have devoted most of that time to mastering digital collage as my core fine art practice. Based in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida, my work bridges handmade and digital processes, blending sketches, painted textures, and physical materials with both sourced and original photography to create layered compositions.
My process begins with sitting on a concept for a few days before planning how to execute it digitally. I usually start with a sketch, which I either bring directly into Photoshop or use as a guide while sourcing and manipulating images—either from my own library or from stock websites. I rely on digital tools because they allow me to push my concepts further than I could with traditional media alone.
At 22, I was diagnosed with stage IV Ewing’s sarcoma—an aggressive bone cancer with a survival rate of less than 9%. Surviving against the odds profoundly shaped my artistic vision. I became acutely aware of the fragility of life and developed a deeper respect for it than I had ever known before. While introspection and the human condition had always been central themes in my work, my battle for survival made resilience and a profound appreciation for existence inseparable parts of my practice.
